I’ve seen some earlier messages about grabbing Gravatars, etc. and I have implemented that from a GitHub: https://github.com/prenagha/mailmate-resources. That works pretty well and makes it easy to see at a glance who is on the email.
This is **way** out of my depth and I am a new Mailmate user, but I thought I would offer this all the same in case it might be helpful:
https://developer.apple.com/documentation/contacts/cncontact
Getting Contact Images
var imageData: Data? The profile picture of a contact.
var thumbnailImageData: Data? The thumbnail version of the contact’s profile picture.
var imageDataAvailable: Bool A Boolean indicating whether a contact has a profile picture.
I have noticed that with other Mac software that includes contact avatars they are getting those from my contacts. I suspect this is how they are doing that.
Lastly - I just have to say - Mailmate is AMAZING! I have already cleared out my inbox to *almost* zero already. The power is stunning.
