[MlMt] How is spam filteirng working with detection is disabled?!

This is a related (I think) issue to my previous posts about spam 
messages and filtering...

I have disabled the SpamSieve drone, until I have time to figure out 
what's wrong.  But I just received a message into my Spam mailbox.  
Since the SpamSieve drone is not running, in fact there's no other mail 
client running anywhere that could filter messages, HOW DID A MESSAGE 
GET FILTERED INTO MY SPAM MAILBOX?!
