I’m not sure if there’s a way to do this in MailMate, but you could
try [this add-on for
Thunderbird](https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/remove-duplicate-messages-alte/).
I know it’s not what you asked for, but it will probably get the job
done.
