What I care about is having my rules work. What I don't care about is
if some sender converts my email address to upper case.

The problem:
(1) Some services convert email addresses to all upper case. They
shouldn't, of course, because technically the semantics of the
local-part is entirely up to the receiving domain, which could enforce
case sensitivity if it chooses. But the fact remains that I receive
some email where the address that reached me was converted to all
uppercase.
(2) MM rules seem to be case-sensitive.
From my point of view, I want rules to work regardless of case.
