The easiest is probably to add a rule to your Archive mailbox which 
simply has an action which says “Set Tag/Keyword Seen”.

For example,

	Email Address(es): First Name <first at example.com>, Second Name 
<second at example.com>

It could also be:

	Name: First Name
	Email Address(es): first at example.com, Second Name <second at example.com>
