[MlMt] Mute Threads

I know that we can mute threads in MailMate - typically to perform the same action e.g. unread for all the replies in the thread. I was seeing it working very well but off late I see the mutes are not working as expected, even after I mute a thread I keep getting emails on the same thread without me on the to/cc/bcc list. 

Is any of the latest updates causing this break ? Is there any way to fix it ?  My MailMate version is Version 1.9.7 (5425)
