Are you sure about this? It appears to still work for me. Just to make 
sure, try this:

	defaults read com.freron.MailMate MmOpenMessageURLInContext
	open "message://%3cC4F5FFC4-7D05-4E66-B7E4-8DDA071B2BEB@gmail.com%3e"
