[MlMt] MailMate shows messages exist, but won't display them

If something similar had not been reported recently then I would have 
claimed it was a user error :-)

I think we should take this off-list since I predict a lot of emails 
going back-and-forth. Anyone else experiencing the same thing is welcome 
to write to me.
