No, there is no toggle. Network connections are handled by OpenSSL and 
I'm actually not sure how well it handles IPv6. I also have some small 
bits of IPv6 aware code, but I honestly cannot remember if I ever tested 
any of this.

The long-term plan is to replace OpenSSL with CFNetwork (also for other 
reasons) which definitely supports IPv6.
