[MlMt] New messages now have "To:" pre-filled-in

I updated to the latest beta, when was it?, last week?  But I've just 
started getting this behaviour today.
I can't figure quite out what triggers it but it does seems to have 
something to do with whether a message from a mailing list is currently 
selected in the messages pane. For me it has nothing to do with whether 
I have a new message window already open or not.
