<p dir="auto">Hi all,</p>
<p dir="auto">Has anyone else had trouble with the <code style="padding: 0 0.25em; background-color: #F7F7F7;">t</code> (tag) shortcut lately? Multiple tags used to work fine for me. Now <code style="padding: 0 0.25em; background-color: #F7F7F7;">t</code> seems unreliable, while the Message > Tag menu works.</p>
<p dir="auto">What I’m seeing:</p>
<p dir="auto">Using <code style="padding: 0 0.25em; background-color: #F7F7F7;">t</code>, I add one tag and it sticks. When I add a second tag, both tags disappear.<br>
Using Message > Tag, multiple tags stay on the message as expected.<br>
Once tags are on a message (added via the menu), <code style="padding: 0 0.25em; background-color: #F7F7F7;">t</code> can’t add another one. A third tag simply doesn’t apply.<br>
<code style="padding: 0 0.25em; background-color: #F7F7F7;">t</code> can’t remove tags either. If I press <code style="padding: 0 0.25em; background-color: #F7F7F7;">t</code>, delete the existing tags from the field and hit Return, nothing changes and the tags remain.</p>
<p dir="auto">I see the same behavior with Fastmail and Gmail, both IMAP.</p>
<p dir="auto">How I checked: I look at the Tags line in the message header area (above the body). With one tag applied via <code style="padding: 0 0.25em; background-color: #F7F7F7;">t</code>, it shows there. After adding a second tag with <code style="padding: 0 0.25em; background-color: #F7F7F7;">t</code>, the Tags line goes blank. A smart mailbox filtered on the tag agrees: the message shows up with one tag, and disappears after I add the second.</p>
<p dir="auto">Repro:</p>
<p dir="auto">Select an untagged message.<br>
Press <code style="padding: 0 0.25em; background-color: #F7F7F7;">t</code> and apply tag A. The Tags line shows A.<br>
Press <code style="padding: 0 0.25em; background-color: #F7F7F7;">t</code> and apply tag B. The Tags line goes empty.<br>
Apply tags through Message > Tag instead. They persist.<br>
With those tags in place, press <code style="padding: 0 0.25em; background-color: #F7F7F7;">t</code> to add or remove a tag. Nothing changes.</p>
<p dir="auto">System: MailMate 6272, macOS 27.0.1 (26A434), Apple Silicon (Mac15,11).</p>
<p dir="auto">I sent a report to mm-feedback on Oct 5 but haven’t heard back, and I’ve only now narrowed it to the <code style="padding: 0 0.25em; background-color: #F7F7F7;">t</code> shortcut. Can anyone reproduce it, or confirm <code style="padding: 0 0.25em; background-color: #F7F7F7;">t</code> works for them? A workaround would also be welcome (for now I’m using the menu).</p>
<p dir="auto">Thanks,<br>
Jim</p>
