Hi Benny,

Long-time MailMate user here. I'd like to
request a feature: the ability to trigger macOS spell check
(and ideally system grammar checking) automatically when
clicking Send.

This is becoming a blocker for me using MailMate
commercially. I have a LanguageTool subscription that works
seamlessly in Apple Mail and Thunderbird via the system text
view integration, catching grammar errors that spell check
misses. MailMate's custom text rendering appears to break
compatibility with these system-wide grammar tools.

Apple Mail has spell check before send built in
(Preferences → Composing → Check Spelling: When I click
Send), and Thunderbird offers similar functionality.

I looked through the hidden preferences and
custom message verifications documentation but couldn't find
a way to achieve this. The delayed sending workaround helps
catch errors after the fact, but a proper pre-send check
would be cleaner and more reliable.

Would either of these be feasible:

A hidden preference to trigger spell/grammar check
before sending

Compatibility with system-level grammar checkers like
LanguageTool

MailMate's Markdown composing and correspondence
view are genuinely excellent - I'd prefer not to switch
clients, but I don’t want to keep sending emails with
avoidable errors.

Thanks for your work
