The only way to get it included in MailMate is if I make it part of the default set (I would fork your github repo to do this). Updates would then require me to explicitly merge them into my fork of the repository. For security reasons, it cannot really be any other way.

Is there a process to submit this as a MailMate bundle and get on the "Bundles List for 'others'"? (Not that I'm arrogant enough to suggest it at this point :) )

I don't have some high bar to pass for this, but it would be nice if the bundle has matured a bit before being included. Historically, I have been very slow with merging changes/fixes to a bundle into the officially distributed one.

Also note that MailMate should work with Apple Intelligence. I haven't done much to integrate it (there is some new API in macOS 26 I believe), but “Writing Tools” are available both in the message view and in the composer. I don't know about the quality, but I'm not really in the habit of using it, but here's what I got after selecting the text in your message and using “Summarize”:

“A MailMate bundle for summarizing email bodies using a personal OpenAPI API KEY is available. The bundle requires Homebrew, w3m, and zenity, and environment variables for the API KEY and model.”

(If Apple Intelligence is better integrated in MailMate then it might also be possible to do it in a way where the user can configure a default AI engine to use. Not making any promises.)
