<p dir="auto">Ah, good points. Yes, I get a beep when pressing “-“ in any focus. It does not delete an email when pressed by itself. Tab’ing just moves the focus, as expected.</p>
<p dir="auto">If I manually press “-{tab}-{tab}-{return}” it shifts focus, beeps on “-“, and opens the email it ends up selecting. Again, expected behavior.</p>
<p dir="auto">But when I trigger the Typinator shortcut for “-{tab}-{tab}-{return}” it not only deletes two emails and opens one, but beeps twice! Oof!</p>
<p dir="auto">So it seems it’s something specifically about the shortcut. Maybe a bug in Typinator?</p>
<p dir="auto">Luckily, it’s not much of an issue now that I’ve adjusted everything to avoid this (I think). My brain still wants to know what’s happening though! It’s an odd one.</p>

<p dir="auto">Tab'ing should just move the focus (exactly where depends on if you have full keyboard access enabled or not).</p>
<p dir="auto">The <code style="margin:0 0;padding:0 0.25em;border-radius:3px;background-color:#f7f7f7">-</code> key does nothing for me. I just get a beep no matter where the focus is. Do you get the beep?</p>
<p dir="auto">Does the <code style="margin:0 0;padding:0 0.25em;border-radius:3px;background-color:#f7f7f7">-</code> key, by itself, delete messages?</p>
