<p dir="auto">I’m concerned that the message IDs might differ between downloading an archive and a regular IMAP download, which could result in duplicate emails being downloaded.</p>

<p dir="auto">Would setting up a Gmail account in the new MailMate and letting MailMate download all the messages again from Gmail really take that long? My guess is it could be done in just a few hours.</p>

<p dir="auto">As you mentioned, downloading older messages first isn’t very practical.</p>

<p dir="auto">(@Benny) Maybe there’s an option in MailMate to prioritize downloading new emails first?</p>
