<p dir="auto">I noticed that MM repeatedly re-syncs parts of my folders, for example, sent messages.</p>
<p dir="auto">When looking into the folder, I'm missing the last 3 months of messages coming in step-by-step. A side effect is that Google then throttles my mailbox.</p>
<p dir="auto">However, I'm wondering why MM seems to lose track of messages' states or if something on Google's side triggers MM re-sync.</p>
<p dir="auto">I'm unsure if I'm using the whole IMAP subscription thing correctly. Here is how I set it up:</p>

<p dir="auto">All mailboxes have the <em>server</em> flag set and the ones with a + the client flag.</p>
<p dir="auto">I'm irritated because I see <em>Gmail/Sent Mail</em> and <em>Gesendet</em>, the German word. There are also <em>Gmail/All Mail</em> and <em>INBOX</em> and <em>Gmail/Drafts</em> and <em>Drafts</em>.</p>
<p dir="auto">However, that might be an unfortunate leftover from a mailbox import many years ago. It might make sense to clean things up directly in Gmail.</p>
<p dir="auto">Does anybody have any hints for me on how to find the root cause of the re-syncing and how to fix it?</p>
