<p dir="auto">The PastedImage.png picture came through. Your first message seemed to say that it represents what you did not want to see. I'm trying to learn what you originally copied and what you want to see when you paste.</p>

When I copy and paste, I get a picturepath:<br>
[ "PastedImage.png" ]<br>
when I paste the same thin in BBEdit I get the expected text, Text-Edit keeps even all formats.<br>
