<p dir="auto">Ok, sorry I haven't looked into the entire thread. This might also have been tried:</p>

<p dir="auto">Make sure that “Play user interface sound effects” is enabled in system settings. It's in the Sound preferences pane.</p>

</li>

<li>

<p dir="auto">Make sure sounds for notifications are allowed for MailMate in the Notifications system preferences pane.</p>
