<p dir="auto">Is there a way to copy markdown from a message in MailMate? I need to do this from both messages I received and messages I previously sent.</p>
<p dir="auto">When I copy-paste into another markdown-compatible program (e.g., Notion web app) it comes across as plain text.</p>
<p dir="auto">My current hack is to press Cmd-Shift-D to resend the message and copy markdown from there. But it would be easier to copy directly from the rendered email. And this hack doesn’t work for copying formatted text from messages that were replied to (anything below the top message in and email with replies or forwards).</p>
<p dir="auto">e.g. here is some text I’d like to copy as markdown from a formatted message:</p>

You could copy the Markdown from the source of the message (⌘+⌥+u) rather than the rendered message. That'll work as long as it wasn't base64 encoded for some reason. (It will only work on Markdown email, not on HTML.)</p>
