<p dir="auto">Hasn’t been asked. I’m double-clicking on the attachment - as I have for the many years I’ve been using MM. It’s fine if I download and then open the file. But that’s an annoying extra step, right?</p>

<li>Use arrow key to download to the default folder (usually Downloads) and open from there to its default app (E.G. Preview or others)?</li>
<li>Some other way… Specifically what?</li>
</ol>

<p dir="auto">Thanks for responding. I’ve come back to this issue after a busy few weeks. Implemented the code as directed in Terminal and it is not having any effect. I am not a coder but understand that I open Terminal, paste the code as copied, and hit return.</p>
<p dir="auto">Am I missing a step? yes, I quit MM and rebooted computer.</p>
