In Mailmate, with Markup set to Markdown, for whatever reason I get an hyperlink right away. As it always behaved that way, I never investigated why. Sorry not to be of more help.</p>

<p dir="auto">When pasting into Microsoft Word, I get a hyperlink, so I know the data makes it to the pasteboard. But pasting into a MailMate composer (with Markup set to Markdown) gives me plain text.</p>

I tried selecting and copying the “More information…” link from <a href="https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://example.com__;!!JFdNOqOXpB6UZW0!sCxfbYZxEDywmsLp3Bk43bNJvq2tb-ye_0KN8TKnNklPLjIjcb_nu7NmskDJRDN_Z0N_ggDxxAR-YC0u074z9y1HdX8$" style="color: #777777;">https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://example.com__;!!JFdNOqOXpB6UZW0!sCxfbYZxEDywmsLp3Bk43bNJvq2tb-ye_0KN8TKnNklPLjIjcb_nu7NmskDJRDN_Z0N_ggDxxAR-YC0u074z9y1HdX8$</a> using both Firefox and Safari. Used ⌘C to copy from the browsers and ⌘V to paste to MailMate.</p>
