Hi Henry,

Thanks for trying to be helpful. In this case, the messages are HTML. Actually, they are multipart/alternative with a text/HTML and a text/plain body part. If I switch the MM viewer preferences to plain text, I can see the message.

Mailmate's "View ->HTML source" shows what appears to be a digested/interpreted version of the raw message. The bug may be in an HTML viewer or pre-processor that MM uses.

Randall,

FWIW, I have seen this in messages on another app (Mail) on an iPad. I suspect that the original message was composed on a different device than the one it is viewed on. For example message composed on a 80 char/line device and hard wrapped. Opened on a narrower device like an iPhone in a less powerful app, this condition can occur.

MM is smart enough to wrap to the window size by default. There is a double-click setting in Viewer to open a message in a new window. Would this help if it were changed (Preferences>Viewer)?

Respectfully,

I get a lot of mail where MM doesn't wrap the lines in the viewer, making the message very hard to read. I have to manually scroll right and left for each line.
