<p dir="auto">Did a little more digging and this definitely appears to be a defect...</p>
<p dir="auto">Basically, there 2 situations where despite selection criteria being disabled, the app still applies the actions to either <strong>all selected messages</strong> or just <strong>all messages</strong>. Clearly, this is unexpected behavior.</p>
<h4>Scenario #1</h4>
<ul>
<li>The top “of the following are true” line is disabled.</li>
<li>Does not matter if any messages meet any of the selection criteria.</li>
<li>Does not matter if the selection criteria are enabled or disabled.</li>
</ul>
<h4>Scenario #2</h4>
<ul>
<li>The top “of the following are true” line is enabled.</li>
<li>Does not matter if any messages meet any of the selection criteria.</li>
<li>All selection criteria are disabled.</li>
</ul>
<p dir="auto">Therefore, it appears that at least one selection criteria must be enabled for rules to work properly. Otherwise, the actions are applied in an undesired manner.</p>
<p dir="auto">I am definitely willing to open a ticket about this but I first wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this issue or maybe even had configurations like those outlined above but had the rules work properly.</p>
