<p dir="auto">Same here! For me it would definitely be useful if I could add text <em>between</em> chunks of quoted HTML without throwing away the markup.</p>

<p dir="auto">But personally I’d prefer not to have a full-blown rich text editor. The fact that quoted HTML is in a way “quarantined” is great for me — I definitely don’t want to be fighting with other peoples’ mail clients’ wild markup!</p>
