<p dir="auto">I don't have Word to test (or other simple way to get both TXT and image on pasteboard). But try ⇧⌘V for plain-text paste - I think that's an OS shortcut - it works everywhere I've tried it. (It could be handled by an installed utility though, rather than OS.)</p>
