<p dir="auto">There are three ways this can work (for any application):</p>


<ol>

<li value="1">The application uses the sharing system in macOS (the little box with an upwards arrow).</li>

<li value="2">The application explicitly supports MailMate using AppleScript.</li>

<li value="3">The application has some kind of plugin system which allows the user to do add it.</li>

<p dir="auto">I don't know how QuickBooks works.</p>


<p dir="auto">Note that the sharing extension did not work well in the most recent release of MailMate (at least on High Sierra). Hold down ⌥ when clicking “Check Now” in the Software Update preferences pane to fetch a fixed test release.</p>
