<p dir="auto">This happens if you have the Markdown markup syntax chosen in the toolbar that contains the Signature and other options - MailMate will add a reference to the image in Markdown syntax. You can turn that off by choosing Plain Text markup syntax in the composer window before dragging your image file into the message, or -- I think -- in Preferences > Composer pane > Markup Syntax = None.</p>
