<p dir="auto">This is how the folder for temporary files works. The files are automatically deleted when they reach a certain age. I don't know if the answer provided <a href="http://superuser.com/questions/187071/in-mac-os-x-how-often-is-tmp-deleted">here</a> is up to date, but it probably still works somewhat similar to that.</p>
