<p dir="auto">Curiously, FastMail sees <a href="mailto:user@company.com">user@company.com</a> for the sending address, as does Mail.app - it's only MailMate which seems to get slightly confused.</p>

<p dir="auto">I didn't know this. The strict interpretation of the above is that the first address is the real one and the other part is a comment. Although often the comment is actually the name of the sender.</p>
<p dir="auto">It's not clear to me that MailMate misbehaves though. This is also supported by the comment in the headers you provided:</p>

<p dir="auto">This appears to mean that the sender did this intentionally.</p>
