<p dir="auto">I want to disable all automatic spelling correction and am struggling.</p>

<p dir="auto">From the main Mailmate window, the option <em>Edit->Spelling and Grammar->Correct Spelling Automatically</em> is ticked and greyed out.  Once I open a new compose windows, I am able to turn this setting off.  The next time I open a new compose window, I have to turn it off again.</p>

<p dir="auto">How can I change the default so that it's turned off permanently?</p>
