<p>As a somewhat geeky person I love the potential of mailmate, it's options and it's customizability. However I've been spoilt with interfaces such as sparrow and mailbox. Their clean interfaces allow me to effectively deal with email without making me go insane.</p>
<p>So my train of thought was, what if I could customize mailmate to be less messy and more zen? I've read all the tips at <a href="http://blog.freron.com/category/customization/">the customization section of mailmate</a>, but the .css styling I'm having some trouble with. And in general the documentation of both the styling and the layouts is so minimal.</p>
<p>What I would like to achieve is instead of the dense, one email per line listing to have it be like sparrow, listing part of the message. If anyone has experimented with this before or has some more insights on the syntax of the layouts/styling, much appreciated.</p>
